Our gym caters for all age groups and fitness levels. Programs are tailored to suit individual needs including rehabilitation after injury, general fitness improvement, strength training, and those suffering chronic health issues.

We like to inspire and support the building of healthy bodies and active lifestyles where members can participate in a range of physical and social pursuits to develop strength, mobility and independence.

The gym was established in 2001 and continues to run successfully through the efforts of hardworking volunteers. The Range Community Gym and Fitness Centre is located in a picturesque setting overlooking the Mapleton Lilyponds. The gym promotes opportunity to train outdoors with fresh mountain air in a relaxing and peaceful environment.

We have programs tailored to suit your individual needs. Please come in and chat to our helpful instructors and existing gym members…find out what brings them to the gym on a regular basis.


Circuit classes are run on Thursday afternoons, Friday and Saturday mornings – a great fun way of getting fit and keeping fit!


We offer a range of equipment to suit all users including machine weights, free weights, treadmills, rowers, bikes, steps and more….

We would like to acknowledge the Sunshine Coast Council for the minor grant received in July 2019 and for their ongoing support of our gym facility. Our members are enjoying some of the new equipment!
