Our gym has two experienced instructors with a wide range of skills and expertise. They love what they do, and they do it with passion. Paul and Tina look forward to helping you achieve your health and fitness goals.

Paul Parker

Fitness Instructor

With over 30 years experience in the fitness industry, Paul is a dedicated trainer offering members individual programs with an emphasis on flexibility, balance, strength and conditioning. 

Paul provides motivational support, exercises for members with special requirements and other customised training programs. He has an extensive background in martial arts and self defence often incorporating these movements into his circuit training. Paul is a registered exercise professional holding a number of certificates in Sports, Recreation and Fitness. He also holds instructor certification to deliver the ‘Lift for Life’, ‘Steady Steps’ and ‘Stay Standing’ programs.

An extremely patient and supportive instructor, Paul has a great sense of humour. He shares his humour and encourages our progress. Our gym sessions are always fun, even when they are challenging!

Tina McLaren

Exercise Physiologist / Fitness Instructor

A highly qualified instructor who comprehensively assesses your physical fitness, determines your fitness goals and sets a program to suit your individual needs. 

Tina is supportive and at the same time helps members to increase their fitness at a manageable rate.  She is highly valued as a fitness instructor and member of our gym community!

Tina is a qualified Exercise Physiologist having completed a Bachelor Degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2021. She holds a Certificate III and IV in Fitness and has extensive experience working within the aged care sector. Tina is interested in working with people to maintain their strength and mobility as they age; taking a proactive approach to implement programs and initiatives promoting the health and well-being of seniors. Tina has also gained university qualifications in Psychology and Community Development and has a genuine interest in helping people achieve their exercise goals in a relaxed, friendly community environment.
